I think I'm confuse

"Clinging to a concept confines you, ties you in a knot, and imprisons you."

I implement the above line to the below,

"All compounded things are impermanent."

The above quote is a concept. I shouldn't cling to the concept. It doesn't mean I must refuse, but rather I should examine it first, and keep be open to others.

If the "All things are impermanent" is true, then the "All things are impermanent" is impermanent, because it is a thing. Therefore, sometimes, it's permanent. Something that sometimes is impermanent and sometimes is permanent is impermanent. Therefore, "All things are impermanent" is the final result.

If the "All things are impermanent" is false, then "There is at least one thing is permanent".

Hmm... something is wrong.

If the "All things are impermanent" is true, then I can say the "All things are impermanent" itself is impermanent, because it is a thing. Therefore, there will be time when there isn't "All things are impermanent".
This mean, even the "All things are impermanent" statement is impermanent (I'm not talking about right or wrong, true or false). And the final is still "All things are impermanent" is true.

If the "All things are impermanent" is false, then there is at least one thing is permanent. But the one thing doesn't have to be this "All things are impermanent".

I really have to sleep now. Trying hard not to disappoint you, I must write my final thought for this crazy post,
"The only thing that is permanent is, all thing is impermanent". I think it satisfied both condition.

Proverb - All's Well That Ends Well

Lately, I often say, "All's well that ends well". I don't remember where did I get that for the first time.

Proverbial Meaning: All one’s pains and struggles during a difficult task are soon forgotten when the task is complete.

Literal Origins: Everything feels fine and good once it is finished.

Common Usage: This is a well-known proverb, perhaps more so for being the title of a Shakespeare play, and may be quoted at the completion of a difficult task or journey, accompanied by a sigh of relief.

I put this proverb here, to remember today, for I just experienced a very sigh of relief...

A guy want-it-so-bad to be part of a famous company at his want-it-so-bad department. After sending his letters of applications to that famous company, the company sent him some of the damned nicest go-to-hell letters he has ever gotten. No he is kidding, he meant it had been just "we have carefully reviewed your application and presently we do not have any positions available which require your particular qualifications".

Since this guy is so positive,

But remember, the brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.

Now my turn,
If you are the one (the one who the most want-it-so-bad), show it, and you will get what you want. And finally you get it. You will be very satisfied.
How can you know you are the one? What if there is other people who want it more badly than you?

My answer is, who is the most want-it-so-bad is not judge or conclude at the start of the competition. The process is counted, calculated, and accumulated.

The Oppositor

Hi readers,

"It's been such a long time since I last wrote something."
I hope the above line will not appear too often at my writes in the future.

Okay, let me review my last post. Oh yeah, it was a quote from a movie. A conversation. Maybe this information I didn't provide at the previous post makes you wander.

Now, I want to discuss about... quote. Haha! Yes I like to, hmm, maybe I listen very carefully each word one spell out, and then try to understand it. If there is an important part of a speech, or a line, it will have a different intonation, or italics for the text. And then, I will give more attention to those.

Back to couple months ago. My big sis told me about a book. A very good one she said. "You should read it". And till now, I couldn't manage to find that book. I wouldn't mention the title or the author. Because like usual, I'd like to give a different point of view from part of his speech. "His" here represent the author of the "famous" book, when he gave a speech at one of the university.

To tell the truth, I didn't attend the seminar, because I just lately really spare my time try to find the book, which is till now, hasn't accomplished. Anyway, I have a good source. Long story short, this speech in the form of papers finally find it's destiny. His speech was about the book. I think this can be a review for the book, before I read it. It's not long, only several pages.

Followed with his description explaining the meaning behind the line. I'm sure you have something in your mind now. But to make it clear, that quote, a positive quote, tell us, not to give up, because, if u can give it a little more time, who know that is the turning point.

A very good one. Anyway, the quote did impress me for a moment.

I bold the almost always, because that means, logically, not always. I can't give percentage of the "almost", it's differ from everyone point of view.

The Great Motivator

I just watched a very interesting television show. It was broadcasted on one of my local tv station. The speaker was, lets say Mr. X. According to the show's name, it should be "Great way for solving life problems". I won't mention the show's name, simply because of ethical reason.

I rarely watch television. Well, my tv is on almost all the time. It is just on, there at the corner of the room, while I'm sitting here, being busy with my laptop, being in another different world.

But that time, it was different. I felt the need to relax for awhile. The television quickly gained my attention. I increased the volume. The speaker, Mr. X had a funny face, not cute nor handsome, and for sure, was mature enough age-wise that he might say all those he said at the show.

In my mind, I categorized him as "a positive thinker", or "a motivator", or whatever it is you want to call this kind of person. I'm not a hater, but I don't really like books from these categories.

I don't like doesn't mean I don't read or listen. I'm very open-minded. I get myself very informed, I try to get informations from as many sources as I can. I select which ones I want to swallow.

Typical for people like Mr. X, they have high self confidence (even though all that they say are crap, they say it confidently). Because with their confidence, all things they say become "TRUE". Moreover, with most of the "lack of  ..." audiences, they often throw questions, and whether or not the answer is satisfying, they will nod instantly, as if they are the fast learner and can absorb whatever the speaker means, "I'm not stupid", or "Go ahead, I can catch up," or maybe, "Yes of course I understand what you mean Mr X 'The GREAT'," and that will make me look not so stupid, or at least the same level with you (The GREAT SPEAKER / THINKER). When Mr. X stumbles upon problems, he will provide a little joke, and with his supportive face, all the audiences will laugh and all of a sudden, no one remembers the unanswered question, the topic is changed.

It is not the way they pass their idea that I oppose, but the idea itself. Most of the ideas, may I say, are "wrong", or lead to the wrong direction. It solves the problem right at the moment, but not when the person goes back home and faces the same problem again. It can be acceptable as a theory, without detail implementation. Speak is too easy. Most of the way even without considering long term impact. It is like escaping from one problem for now to face another problem in the future. Even worse, it's not solved to the root of the problem.

Then again, a great MC stands beside him, always ready to change the topic when necessary. At the end, big applause from trying-hard-to-look-smart audiences, great MC, great speaker. Good Job Mr. X. You are indeed really something.

P.S:
The show that I watched brought this topic, something like, "women's roles in the family." Most of the audiences were women, mothers, or even grandmothers.

How can we expect questions about the real problems of their family lives from the audiences? It will be just like telling your (pathetic family) problems to all the other people in the show and the whole world. What will they think about you after that?

Listening to the discussion and all the solutions Mr.X suggested, I was like, "Huh? Do you think every marriage is a result of romantic relationship? What about marriage done by matchmaker? What about  a girl made by her parents to marry a rich-old guy to save their business..., or marriage for the social status sake, that happens..." If you realize, then do not generalize, you just simplify all the things. You just want to make it an easy case.

I remember his very sentence that made my head spinning, my stomach churning, that was "Serve him as a King". Mr. X told a woman to serve her husband as a King. I'm sure Mr. X has such a high self pride, and ego. That's the wrong thing I mentioned before. He just gave a short cut solution to the question. Do you think a housewife can manage, the whole time, to smile and appear pretty, smells good with your "parfume suggestion" all over her body, after all the house work? Do you think she can manage to be better then all the other women outside? You are so much bullshiting Mr. X! Ah, I know, with all your bullshit sold, you have so much income that you can provide maids in the house; no work for your wife to do so that she has all the time to enhance her appearance, practice a new way of talking (like you said, that melodious one) to you. Oh yeah, you like your wife parfume right? Ahh, I remember, you are the King anyway.

First,
I didn't really know how to speak.
I could only cry.
Then as I learned from the environment, I tried to make sound like they did.
I began learning how to speak.
Then I knew the alphabet.
I could pronounce A, B, C.
I knew several words.
I learned how to speak.
I knew several languages.

Nowadays,
All sounds out off my mouth can be assembled with a to z.
People accept me as a graduated human being.
I'm welcomed to their community.

Till one day I began to think.
About words that they usually talk,
Liberty, Beyond, Limit, Creativity.

I thought about many,
then I tried to apply to the sound I made.
First I hardly made any sound that couldn't be assembled with a to z.
Now I realize, they'd killed me!

You Don't Have To

Learn crawling before walking,
Ride bike before motorcycle,
Study math before physics,
No you don't have to.

A broken home single parent shows me what true love is,
A god of gambler teaches me how to be honest,
A prisoner advises me what a good person is,
A thief ask me to not stealing,
Yes you have to.

Because when an idea passes to another,
It's not a matter who it is from,
nor whom it will be given.

Okay, I think it's not like a poem at all.
Anyway, no matter it's a poem, or a letter, or a fiction,
no matter what the label above it, or the wrapper around it,
please look inside it.
